Tim Waterman wrote an article in Landscape Architecture Magazine (LAM) on how Dutch landscape architects make room for the river. He made visits to the projects Ruimte voor de Waal, Overdiepse polder and depoldering Noordwaard/Biesbosch.

Tim Waterman lectures landscape architecture at the University of Greenwich and is an MArch thesis tutor at the Bartlett. He is the author of "Fundamentals of Landscape Architecture"​ and, with Ed Wall, of "Basics Landscape Architecture: Urban Design"​. He can also be found, from time to time, in the pages of Landscape Architecture Magazine (LAM) and The Architects’ Journal.
