Chiara Marquart is in the fifth semester studying landscape architecture at the HfWU Nürtingen in southern Germany.
Her passion for design and interest in how climate change and natural processes affect human lifestyles (and the opposite) inspired her to study landscape architecture. During her studies she gained experience in the areas of small scale, detailed planning and vegetation planning. Her aim is to learn on a large scale to develop concepts in the context of social, natural and infrastructural aspects. The focus is on the integration of nature and its functions into open spaces in order to increase the added value of people's daily lives and the necessary sustainability.
