Frank Talsma studied Garden and Landscape Architecture at Larenstein, University of Applied Sciences from 1994 until 1999. After having worked at Bureau B+B urbanism and landscape architecture for a year, he left for Barcelona to start a master in landscape architecture (Máster de Arquitectura del Paisaje) at the ETSAB/UPC (2000-2002). During his master he also worked as a freelancer and was employed by Bureau MF arquitectura del paisage. In February 2002 he returned to the Netherlands and started working for H+N+S Landscape Architects. He has considerable experience in design projects on every scale level. In recent years he mainly focuses on project management and infrastructural design projects as well as on planning ‘green’ development projects and the effects of these on the landscape architectural design.
Frank is a passionate beekeeper, organic gardener, vegetarian and yogi.
